Preparing our Southern Seasoned Grits in your own kitchen is as simple as this: In a medium sauce pan, boil one cup water. Add 1/4 cup grits and reduce heat to simmer. Cook, stirring frequently until creamy and tender, about 20 minutes. For a creamier texture, add additional water. Makes one serving. (A suggestion from our Gritmaster: Use milk instead of water, and add a pat of butter per serving.)
