In July of 2011, we founded Pure Sodaworks along with our friend, Shawn Clouse.
On an budget of only $900, we launched the company with a small food cart from which we served hand-made sodas to thirsty customers at festivals, special events, and farmers markets. Our goal was to create sodas that mimicked the ingredients utilized by pharmicists in the early 1900s. Using only herbs, spices, fruit, juice, and pure cane sugar, we developed dozens of delicious concoctions with a focus on unique flavor combinations such as Strawberry Jalapeño, Cucumber Wasabi, Orange Basil, and Rosemary Lemonade.
Following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2012, we built a small bottling line and began distributing their signature sodas throughout the Southeastern and Midwestern United States.
We are thrilled that, after six years of steady growth, we began a partnership with Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores in March of 2018. Our two most popular and award-winning sodas, Apple Pie and Café Cola, are now available for purchase at all 650 Cracker Barrel locations nationwide.
